This is a site for the golden years. No hurry, no worry. Time to relax and smell the roses. Indulge passions.

I like gardening. I started it about seven years ago, in 2017, after moving to Wisconsin. Having lived in big cities all my life, I didn’t even know that that potatoes and carrots are root crops and grow below ground! It is always exciting and fun to discover new things at any age. Gardening is especially rewarding. I enjoy sifting dirt with my hands, plant seeds, care for them, and watch beautiful crops spring up. I grow many vegetables and herbs such as onions, garlic, tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, peppers, okra, brussels, cauliflower and more. I also grow basil, thyme, oregano, rosemary, parsley, chives, tarragon, mint, and cilantro. I love to cook and having fresh vegetables to work with is pure joy.

I used to enjoy writing. But in working years, there was no time for creative endeavors. I worked in computer industry. High tech is very intense doesn’t leave any space to do much else. I pleasantly discovered that I can still write, and quite well. So, I have revived this passion. I joined a writers club at a senior center, called the Gathering Place in Milton, Wisconsin. It is a great place and I enjoy sharing memories with other like minded folks.

I love to travel. I was born in India and lived there until 1984 when I got to be 31 years old. Now, at this age, my native culture calls me. I visit India every year in winter and spend a few weeks on the beaches of Kerala. I also attend Ayurvedic retreats and rejuvenations programs. This also gives me an opportunity to meet with many wonderful people from all over the world.

I will share my passion and experiences on this site. I also plan to conduct seminars, lectures and workshops on health and happiness related subjects.
