Indian food was originally designed to be both nutritional and therapeutic. The essence of Indian food are spices which are derived from herbs that have medicinal properties.

The benefits of Turmeric are well known. There are many other spices that protect us from many ailments.

The Indian cooking that is practiced today is a far cry from its original purpose. Indian food served in the restaurants today is overloaded with oil and spices which are not good for health.

In this presentation, I will offer a glimpse of the history of Indian food and how it should be prepared and consumed for maximum benefits.
